Dear colleagues and friends,

In view of the emerging and re-emerging infections, the world has become more conscious of the importance of infection prevention and control, not only in the hospitals but also in the community. As healthcare workers, there is no shirking the responsibility to learn and keep of the latest news as well as knowledge in this respect.

Hong Kong Infection Control Nurses’ Association has started to run international infection control conference every 2 years since 2004, and the 5th one is coming up on 24th to 26th August 2012.

We have invited renowned speakers from both locally and overseas to give us an account on the latest evidence and cutting edge information in our rapidly expanding and changing infection prevention and control field. There will also be an opportunity for delegates to exchange views and ideas about the latest developments in nosocomial and hospital acquired / healthcare associated infections.
